The Making Off
The creative process of making monoprint artworks is deeply instinctive. Inspired by the materials in front of me, I let my mind run free in an almost meditative state. First, I start by painting directly onto a metal plate. This is then passed through the press, transferring the design onto fine cotton paper. Then the collage stage begins before I decide whether to run the image through the press for a further print. Each piece is unique and is infused with an intuitive energy.
